I wanted to bring the ritual of Italian café life to the coast where people actually live, so a morning coffee feels like a small ceremony.

For the moodboard, each choice is tied to the experience I want to create: lemon yellow brings brightness and energy, while deep blue is calming and connects to the Mediterranean. A striped beach umbrella, a yellow striped towel, all of it adds a tactile, dreamy quality, warm and nostalgic.

For the visual language, I worked with silhouette illustrations. A silhouette gives you the feeling of something without the small details, and that was a big part of what I wanted here: the sense of a thing rather than its exact edges, with coffee, moka pot, beans, parasol, lemons, and a palm tree, all recognizable from their shapes alone.
